Brewing, at its core, is a creative act—where a brewer dreams, then brings that vision to life through the harmony of art and science. This Imperial Lager is our ode to that process, a bold and elegant interpretation of a classic style.
Rhapsody is built on a rich foundation of Bohemian Pilsner Malt, German Spring Barley, and locally grown Munich-style malt from right here in Sacramento. Layered atop this malt symphony is a refined hop ensemble featuring noble Czech Saaz, assertive German Magnum, floral German Ariana, and the subtly spicy, earthy notes of American Mt. Hood. Together, these ingredients create a beautifully complex, full-bodied lager that’s both powerful and smooth.
Tasting Notes:
A soft, pillowy mouthfeel leads the way into gentle waves of tropical peach, wildflower honey, and a delicate fruitiness reminiscent of pear and banana. A subtle alcohol warmth rounds out the experience, leaving a lingering impression of harmony and grace.
