Being one of the best breweries in Sacramento is no accident. Brewing craft beer is our passion, built on over 30 years of combined brewing experience. We value elegance over gimmicks and believe that great beer is achieved by skillful design, talented execution and an uncompromising commitment to useonly the best ingredients available.
We believe that a local brewery should be more than just your local brewpub. To us, local is a commitment to local partnerships and some of our partners include: Admiral Maltings, UC Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program, California Beer Farms and more.
Our selection of IPA’s, Pilsners, Stouts, Ales, Lagers & classic beer styles are consistently rated some of the best beer in Sacramento, including our flagship Castillo IPA, which took the honor of a Gold Medal at the 2018 Great American Beer Festival. The GABF is the most respected commercial beer competition in the world and we were proud to not only bring home the only GABF Gold medal awarded to Sacramento but also to become the youngest brewery to ever win Gold at the GABF.
“Seasonal, local, sustainable, and craft” … These are the elements that define Alaro’s Spanish inspired palate.
