Introducing Ballesta No. 18 Hazy IPA—the latest chapter in our ever-evolving hop journey. “Ballesta,” meaning “Crossbow” in Spanish, represents the symbol of our Castle and the name of this bold, rotating hop IPA series. Each release allows us to push boundaries, experiment, and create something truly unique.
For this version, we crafted this hazy IPA with Coastal Haze Yeast and a grain bill of 100% Sacramento-grown Barley, Wheat, and Oats from our friends at Admiral Maltings, giving it an exceptionally rich, soft, and silky texture. But the true magic lies in our masterful use of hops. This edition features an exquisite blend of Simcoe, Citra, Belma, Galaxy, Ella, and Whole Cone Cascade & Alora hops—which we used directly in the mash tun for an extra layer of complexity.
Expect bright notes of citrus, passionfruit, and peach that burst through the haze, delivering that juicy, tropical sensation you crave with each sip.
With an ABV of 7%, 55 IBUs, and an OG of 1.058, Ballesta No. 18 hits all the right notes—an IPA that’s as smooth as it is powerful.
